"Today is the Day that the Lord Hath Made"

What a stressful couple of weeks. Preparing for the Women's Conference (which God was there and blessed), dealing with issues at home, and just worries of everyday life. Isn't that like life, you have a good weekend in the Lord, and sometimes you don't even leave His presence before the enemy is attacking.

 21-25 Thank you for responding to me;
      you've truly become my salvation!
   The stone the masons discarded as flawed
      is now the capstone!
   This is God's work.
      We rub our eyes—we can hardly believe it!
   This is the very day God acted—
      let's celebrate and be festive!
   Salvation now, God. Salvation now!
      Oh yes, God—a free and full life! (Psalm 118:23-25, The Message)

I got up this morning to go to Bible Study (we have fun...You should come join us if you are local to Leitchfield, Farmers every Friday morning 8:00 cst) I did my devotion which really hit home (Thank You Father), it was pouring rain, and I thought God, I don't know if I feel like getting out in this rain. But the scripture came to me, This is the day that the Lord hath made, I WILL rejoice and be glad in it! I attached the Message Version passage above, I like the way it puts it This is the VERY day God acted- Let's Celebrate! A Free and Full Life! Now how awesome is that?? Free of stress, issues at home, and worries of everyday life. MY GOD gave His only begotten Son that we may celebrate Life no matter what struggles we may face. I recently purchased a picture from one of my favorite shopping places "Kirkland’s" and it simply states "The will of God will never take you to where the grace of God will not protect you”. I firmly believe that quote. Sometimes it is hard to put into practice or have the faith to believe but God is my refuge and I should delight in This day that He hath made.

 1-13You who sit down in the High God's presence, spend the night in Shaddai's shadow,
   Say this: "God, you're my refuge.
      I trust in you and I'm safe!"
   That's right—he rescues you from hidden traps,
      shields you from deadly hazards.
   His huge outstretched arms protect you—
      under them you're perfectly safe;
      his arms fend off all harm.
   Fear nothing—not wild wolves in the night,
      not flying arrows in the day,
   Not disease that prowls through the darkness,
      not disaster that erupts at high noon.
   Even though others succumb all around,
      drop like flies right and left,
      no harm will even graze you.
   You'll stand untouched, watch it all from a distance,
      watch the wicked turn into corpses.
   Yes, because God's your refuge,
      the High God your very own home,
   Evil can't get close to you,
      harm can't get through the door.
   He ordered his angels
      to guard you wherever you go.
   If you stumble, they'll catch you;
      their job is to keep you from falling.
   You'll walk unharmed among lions and snakes,
      and kick young lions and serpents from the path. (Psalm 91:10-11, The Message)

Wow...another awesome passage!  Evil can't get close to you!!  You'll walk unharmed among lions and snakes!  Thank you Lord for this Day that You have made I WILL rejoice and be Glad in it.

To God be the Glory!
